| The flow rate capacity of the centrifuge is 4 GPM or 240 gallons per hour. The centrifuge measures 6 1/2" in diameter by 9 1/2" tall. Rotor is 4 3/4" in diameter and 5 1/4" tall and capable of holding 40 oz. of contaminants. One 55 gallon drum of WVO will take approximately 14 minutes to process. The viscosity is the critical part of this equation. The thinner the oil the better, so heating the fuel to a temperature of 140 degrees plus will increase performance. Temperatures in the range of 150 to 170 degrees seem to produce the best results. Never exceed 180 degrees. You can clean the oil to less than 1 micron by making multiple passes. You will never get toless than 1 micron in a single pass. If you filter your oil down to 100 micron before centrifuge useage, it will take approximately 3 to 4 passes to get the oil to the desired less than 1 micron rating. Of course with this centrifuge 4 passes can be acheived in 1 hour. If you filter your oil down to 5 micron before centrifuge useage, it will take approximately 2 passes ( half an hour) to get the oil to the desired less than 1 micron rating. The centrifuge spins generating a centrifugal force 2,000 times greater than gravity. The pressure spins the rotor at a rate of over 7500 rpm's separating the solid contaminants from the WVO. The pressure forces the contaminants to an outer bowl which can easily be cleaned by taking it apart and scraping clean. | |

One 55 gallon drum of WVO will take approximately 60 minutes to process. The viscosity is the critical part of this equation. Centrifuge generates at 85 PSI a centrifugal force 2,000 times greater than gravity at 7500 RPM. You need to purchase a 1/3 HP motor with pump for centrifuge operation. The centrifuge will clean WVO, used motor oil or biodiesel in the wash process.. The centrifuge will remove magnesol with more than one pass necessary. At the end of the process, you can also remove glycerin, which requires no heating. More than one pass may be needed. | |
